The Asian Australasian Animal Production (AAAP) Congress is being held in Kuching, East Malaysia, from 1-5 August 2018.
Asian-Australasian Animal Production, a consortium of animal societies, was founded in 1980 with 8 charter members (Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines and Thailand). Since then. Taiwan, Bangladesh, Papua New Guinea, India, Vietnam, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Iran, Sri Lanka and China have also joined as member countries. AAAP Congress is now considered a platform where among the largest number of animal scientists and professionals meet to discuss current advances in animal sciences and technology. All topics and disciplines in animal sciences (and aquaculture) will be presented and participants are not only animal scientists but also students, technologists, farmers, breeders, and those directly and indirectly involved in animal industry.
This year’s congress will be hosted by the Malaysian Society of Animal Production.
