Travel around New Zealand on a Virtual Farmer Study Tour Reducing while producing

The virtual tour consists of the release of three short films showcasing how the New Zealand agricultural sector is responding to the challenges of climate change and working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by increasing on farm efficiency and producing more sustainably.

The tour themes are Collaborate, Innovate and Enable.

Collaborate: We look at how farmers can collaborate with policy makers, scientists, and industry to enable continual emission reductions on farm in an increasingly complex agricultural landscape.

Innovation: We look at the opportunities for farmers to innovate and take a science led approach to their individual and diverse climate challenges

Enable: We look at how the agricultural community has come together to enable farmers to rise to the climate challenge and become change makers.

Ask the Experts: to conclude the series a panel discussion involving members of the farming, science and policy communities addressed questions sent in by the online audience during the week – view this final session.
