The GRA is pleased to announce that the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) under the National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology (NIANP) will be running a training program to take place in Bengaluru, India this August. With support from the FAO and the New Zealand government, the training program will cover recent advances in methane estimation and amelioration strategies for livestock methane and climate change. The material will be covered in four segments: methane production, methane estimation, methane amelioration, and stress & adaptation. The course is aimed at university assistant professors/lecturers, or research scientists working in the related area.
