DESCRIPTION:From September 23-25\, the Department of Biological and Chemical Engineering at Aarhus University will host the 6th edition of the EmiLi Conference in Aarhus\, bringing together researchers to present and discuss the latest advances in research on gas and dust emissions in animal agriculture. \n\n\n\nThe conference will focus on topics such as: \n\n\n\n\nManure and fertilizer management\n\n\n\n\n\nMitigation strategies and technologies\n\n\n\n\n\nModelling and emission processes\n\n\n\n\n\nLivestock facilities and enteric emissions\n\n\n\n\n\nInventories and emission factors\n\n\n\n\n\nMeasurement methods and data management\n\n\n\n\noth international and national keynote speakers will share new insights and knowledge\, and panel discussions will provide space for exploring different perspectives on the topics. \n\n\n\nThe conference will be held at Aarhus University’s Conference Center\, and registration is now open. DESCRIPTION:Registrations are now open for the CIHEAM advanced course Reducing methane emissions in ruminants through nutrition: measuring\, management and accounting options. \n\n\n\nThis course will explore practical approaches to measuring\, managing\, and accounting for methane emissions from ruminant systems\, with a strong focus on nutrition-based strategies. \n\n\n\nKey details: \n\n\n\n\nDates: 27–29 October 2026\n\n\n\nFormat: Hybrid (Granada\, Spain)\, with 30 face-to-face places and 30 online places available\n\n\n\nRegistration deadline: 15 June 2026\n\n\n\n\nThe course is designed for senior public decision-makers\, policy advisors\, private sector representatives\, academics\, and extension specialists.
