The GRA have partnered with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) to establish the project series titled Indigenous Research Network: The Power of Inclusivity focused on gathering young emerging leaders to display on a global stage the value of inclusion in climate actions and decisions. We will be holding a virtual workshop on November 1, 2023 from 10am-1pm NZT.

The project will:

1. Advocate the importance of inclusion of all people specifically young indigenous people as our future leaders in this space.
2. Promote the positive role of Indigenous led methods to reduce the impacts of climate change in communities.
3. Connect Indigenous communities together though the exchange of traditional knowledge and practices related to food safety and security.
