GFFA 2024

January 17 January 20 Berlin

The GFFA 2024 aims at deepening and strengthening the agri-political dialogue. Around 2000 policymakers, scientists, business leaders and members of civil society will seize the opportunity to discuss and connect. Many GFFA events are public, among them 3 High Level Panek, 16 expert panel, a science slam and the opening ceremony.


The work of the GRA will be showcased in two expert panels at the GFFA in Berlin next year.

GRA, The Power of Inclusivity: Indigenous-led measures to reduce the impact of climate change, 19 January 2024.

A panel organised by the Indigenous Research Network (led by New Zealand and Samoa) of the Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases exploring indigenous-led measures to low emissions agriculture that reduce the impact of climate on food systems. Learn more here.

Thünen Institute of Market Analysis, From global strategies to local implementation of food loss and food waste prevention, 19 January 2024.

A Collaboration Initiative on Food Losses and Waste was launched at the Meeting of Agricultural Chief Scientists of G20 (MACS G20). The GRA has been invited to participate, presenting a project New Zealand funded in Sri Lanka on GHG emissions from horticultural supply chains. Learn more here.
