Dear CCAC partners and Hubs members,

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition, UN Environment Programme, Food and Agriculture Organization, and the International Nitrogen Management System, in collaboration with the Montreal Protocol Ozone Secretariat, will present Global Nitrous Oxide Assessment at a high-level event on 31 October, 13:00-15:00 Bangkok, at COP13/MOP36.  The assessment highlights the threats of rising nitrous oxide emissions and the multiple benefits from ambitious action; the event will also include experts from academia, civil society and governments to provide an overview of efforts on nitrous oxide across industrial and agricultural sectors, and outline opportunities for international action.
