The International Temperate Rice Conference will be held June 5-8, 2024, at the Marriott Hotel on Canal Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. This is a continuation of the very successful scientific meetings that have been held since the first in New South Wales, Australia in 1994. The meeting will be jointly hosted by the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center (LSU AgCenter) and the USA Rice Federation. The meeting will have scientific presentations, posters, etc. on June 6 & 7 followed by a tour to the southwest Louisiana rice production region which is the birthplace of modern rice production in the U.S.A.

Dates of note – presentation abstracts due by February 1, 2024. Early registration ends on March 15, 2024. There will be a tour to the rice area of Southwest Louisiana on Saturday, June 8, however it will be limited to the first 110 who register for it.
