“GIZ, the World Bank and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) cordially invite you to a virtual closing event of the Programme for Climate-Smart Livestock Systems. After almost five years of implementation, we would like to share our key findings and lessons learned on supporting the development of climate-smart livestock systems in Africa. Experts in the field will showcase selected adaptation and mitigation measures and discuss with key stakeholder the role of policies and finance to bring climate-smart livestock practices and measures to scale.”

The Programme for Climate-Smart Livestock Systems (PCSL) is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) together with the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and the World Bank on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The event will be held in English. Simultaneous translation into French will be available.

Des experts en la matière présenteront une sélection de mesures d’adaptation et d’atténuation et discuteront avec les principales parties prenantes du rôle des politiques et du financement pour mettre à l’échelle des pratiques et des mesures d’élevage respectueuses du climat.”

Le Programme pour des systèmes d’élevage intelligents face au climat (PCSL) est mis en œuvre par la Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) en collaboration avec l’Institut international de recherche sur l’élevage (ILRI) et la Banque mondiale pour le compte du ministère fédéral allemand de la coopération économique et du développement (BMZ).
