WEBINAR: Advancing Climate Smart Livestock: New Insights from ASEAN Research

Background & Rationale

The ASEAN region has undertaken livestock mitigation experiments under the NZCSA programme, generating valuable technical findings on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This webinar aims to share these results with the wider GRA community and raise awareness within ASEAN about practical approaches to climate-smart livestock development. By showcasing research outcomes and country experiences, the session will foster knowledge exchange and invite further global collaboration.

Objectives

  • Present key technical findings from ASEAN livestock mitigation research.
  • Highlight how research informs government priorities and climate policy.
  • Discuss opportunities for scaling low-emission livestock practices.

Target Audience

Members of the GRA Livestock Research Group, other livestock and climate stakeholders, researchers globally.

Format

60 minutes: Opening remarks (5 mins), three presentations (10–15 mins each), Q&A (15 mins).
