Collaborative research is at the heart of the Livestock Research Group (LRG), enabling scientists to achieve results that would have been impossible working in isolation. Sharing experiences, skills and knowledge across borders and disciplines allows greater progress to be made towards common research goals and livestock production challenges.
Specific projects may be identified within the Livestock Research Group’s networks or at annual meetings of the group, or bilaterally between countries and partners. Participants then collaborate to source funding for the work. A significant number of projects are underway at present. Some highlights are presented here.
