You’ve reached the Global Research Alliance United Kingdom page

The UK is involved in a range of activities under the Alliance including research collaboration, networks, best practice guidance and capability development. The UK is primarily involved in the Croplands Research Group, the Livestock Research Group and the Inventories and Monitoring Cross-Cutting Group. For further information on UK GRA activities please contact Luke Spadavecchia at: Luke.Spadavecchia@defra.gsi.gov.uk or [email protected].

UK participation in the GRA builds upon the large UK Government investment in the UK Agricultural Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory Research Platform which aims to improve the accuracy and resolution of the UK inventory by providing new experimental evidence on the factors affecting emissions and statistics relevant to changing farming practices in the UK. Further information on the Platform and its three research projects (Nitrous oxide emissions, Methane emissions, and Data Synthesis, Modelling and Management) is available here.
